Worship is at the center of our life together in Christ. On Sunday mornings, we offer both traditional and contemporary worship experiences so that everyone can find a worship time that meets their spiritual needs. Communion is offered at both of our worship services and ALL are welcome to receive communion!
Children of all ages are welcome at both services! The Contemporary Worship service features a Children’s Message and Sunday School Time.
What to expect
Both our worship services are “come as you are”! Jeans and t-shirts are as common as dresses and slacks. Long hair, short hair, beards, tattoos, piercings - it’s all good! (Ask Pastor about her tattoo sometime!)
We use the hymnal during the traditional service, and project song lyrics during the contemporary service. Slides are used during both services to show the words of prayers and responses, as well as to illustrate the sermon.
Contemporary Worship - Sunday, 11am
For those who prefer contemporary Christian music that is upbeat and liturgy that focuses on the essentials. The music is led by our talented and lively worship band under the direction of Noah Miller.
The 11 am service features a Children’s message, after which children leave for Sunday School, returning for communion. Kids also participate in sending the congregation out into the world at the end of the service.
Contemporary but also deeply spiritual, our 11 am service still features familiar and moving words from classic Lutheran Liturgy.
Traditional Worship - Sunday, 9am
For those who prefer traditional Lutheran liturgy with a choir. We sing the Kyrie, Gloria, and Great Thanksgiving, as well as hymns old and new. Our music is led by our talented choir under the direction of Rosilyn Brown, our organist, pianist, and choir director. Choir anthems and hymns are chosen each week to reflect the scripture readings and sermon theme.
Traditional, yes; stodgy, no! There is a great spirit of joy and community at our 9 am service!
